Putting it together was not too bad, although 2 people are certainly needed to do that more efficiently, since the unit is pretty heavy. The stand itself is very stable, the drawers are great for storing DVDs, TV and equipment manuals...etc. The only improvement I would suggest would be making the drawers slide in and out more easily by having them installed on a roller. A Great Value By A Customer One of the main reasons I purchased this TV stand was for its modern and contemporary style. Also, the fact that it has 2 drawers for storing DVDs and other accessories. The price was also very reasonable. Quality wise, it is very sturdy and acceptable. Assembly was pretty strait forward and without any problems. The stand arrived in two separate boxes. The only issue I have with this stand is its very heavy weight. Once assembled as directed (from the bottom up) it was tricky turning it right-side up without breaking the glass (mostly due to its weight). But with patience and some extra help I was able to do that safely. Over all I am very pleased with my purchase, the assembled unit does look exactly like the picture shown. I would recommend this stand to anyone who likes the contemporary style and has some help in carrying and moving the unit around. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. nice except for the drawers By Brad Garton We like the stand, and it wasn't difficult to assemble at all. The big problem, however, was the cheaply-made drawers. They didn't seem in keeping at all with the materials used in the rest of the stand. The real problem, however, was that everything (especially the glass parts) was packed very well for shipment *except* the drawers. As a result, the screws had pulled out of the particle-board front and back, and the front and back had partially disintegrated. The drawers were unusable. We decided we liked it without the drawers anyhow. See all 3 customer reviews...
