With its artistic design, this TV stand from Poundex nicely complements contemporary living room décor. The 16-inch high TV stand features solid wood and wood veneer construction, finished in a glossy black finish. Standing on metal legs, the TV stand provides space for a 42-inch flat-screen TV on its surface. A large open compartment contains media components such as DVD and CD players, while enabling the passage of electric cables to wall outlets. Supported by metal posts, a small shelf extends on one side of the stand to offer space for remote controls storage. This item also comes in a walnut-finished model. Upon delivery, the stand requires home assembly and comes with the necessary hardware. The assembled TV stand measures 45 inches wide by 16 inches deep by 16 inches high.

That, along with the metal bars is slightly bent, makes everything seem a bit 'wobbly. There are also two side dents. One can say that can happen during transport, except the respective sides seem unable to get in touch with what might have caused these bruises (bruises were acute, where the box was covered with polystyrene intact). So I would say that the project is interesting, but materials and workmanship are shoddy. 5 of 5 people found this review useful. Product imprecise but otherwise good AirZooka Fans Once put together, this is a nice, solid piece of furniture. However, this star is believed to be 5 for three reasons. 1. I had to return the first because of a manufacturing defect. Two pre-installed threaded fittings were in the wrong holes, preventing the intended fasteners from fitting into those holes, and making assembly impossible The replacement was free of defects. 2. The packaging is minimal, and other parts of the first one were damaged in shipping. The replacement had no damage. 3. Actual defects aside, the parts all took a little coaxing to get them to line up and fit together. If you look at the finished piece carefully you can see where some edges don't quite line up, or a support isn't exactly vertical. Other possibly useful information: It's very short for a TV stand, only about 16 inches tall. Assembly Instructions of TV Stand By INFANTRY I had a most disappointing experience with the assembly of Poundex TV Stand From the Assembly Chart provided, I tried to assemble it for 4 hours but in vain. Finally I had to pay $20 to a professional carpenter to assemble it. Exact placing of Item H has not been described adequately nor the fact that it has to be split in 3 parts which was the main cause of the problem. This aspect needs correction in Step 1.The assembly steps are from Top to Bottom whereas it will facilitate if these are described from Bottom to Top . The item came chipped on three places, one right upper corner, second right rear corner and third 2 in right from left corner. This was a Bad Deal and I regret making this choice.
